Junior Solution Sales Consultant

Under supervision of the Sales Manager, assists in the sale of software application solutions to the healthcare community by performing the following duties:

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Assist with prospecting activities to maintain a full pipeline. These activities may include cold calling, telemarketing, and any other sales or marketing events.
  • Survey prospects and customers to analyze their needs and recommend solutions that best meet the customer’s requirements.
  • Assists in the preparation and presentation of product demonstrations for the recommended solution.
  • Assists in the preparation and presentation of professional quotes, proposals, and contract agreements in accordance with Benchmark sales policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate prospect, customer, and opportunity data in the Customer Relationship Management systems.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Must be an active listener and possess social perceptiveness
  • Strong written and oral comprehension and  expression
  • Possess Benchmark’s core value system, of Achievement through: Trust, Respect, Ethics and Compassion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree and 3 + year’s sales experience in the office equipment/copier  type environment.

Sales Internship
